Better late than never, right?! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and got to spend time with family and friends! I know I did! ;)
December has been a whirlwind of a month and I just haven't had a chance to blog. Hopefully things will settle a bit after New Year's and I can get back to my routine. :) I actually talked the Mr. into letting me put up 2 trees this year...yay! We always put up the pretty, natural-themed tree in the living room with all of the matching ornaments, but this year we also put up a short, chunky tree with old-school lights and our fun ornaments. One of my favorite holiday traditions that Matt and I started when we got married is that we each pick out one ornament every year. We write our name and the year on it so when it comes time to decorate the tree and hang those ornaments, it just brings back some sweet memories. :) It's also nice to think that hopefully one day, we'll have tons of these ornaments/memories! This tree just might be my favorite one yet!

Here is the main tree that's in our living room. I really love this one too because of all the natural-themed ornaments. We bought most of these from an ornament shop in the mall, Target and Pottery Barn.
I absolutely LOVE real trees even though they are messy! They just smell like Christmas and I would rather string lights on a real one any day than have to fluff an artificial!
I also forgot to mention that I got a new camera (my first dSLR) for Christmas so I've been busy trying to figure out how to use it, haha! I'll be back later with some pics of our Christmas celebration! Happy Tuesday!
