So we only had one major problem when we finally got the keys to the place. I noticed that the kitchen looked a little empty. That was because the previous owners took their refrigerator. I guess since we were first-time home buyers, we didn't realize we need to specify that the leave their old, outdated fridge. Anywho, a trip to Home Depot was in the very near future! Here is the interior, not so fully furnished, with mismatched furniture from college :
Master Bedroom
Guest Bedroom (just pitiful)
Hall Bath
Living Room
Office/ 3rd Bedroom
Kitchen

Kitchen again
Screened Porch

So there is a brief preview of our house from Day 1 (really it was probably more like day 4 or 5 but I don't guess I took pics before we moved our stuff in)
Our lives changed in more ways that one that week. We grew from a family of 3 to a family of 4 with the addition of Waylon, our Wheaten Terrier. He flew in from Oklahoma and we picked him up at the airport in Birmingham (and yes, he has been spoiled since).
And we can't forget Dodger. He loved finally having a backyard to run and play in!
So, there's the beginning of our little story. Stay tuned!
